What to Expect
To start off, we draw blood from your arm and then put that blood into a centrifuge. This will spin your blood sample quickly, separating the red blood cells from the PRP. We then insert the plasma into a syringe and begin injections.

Do not have intercourse 72 hours prior to your injection

Hydrate appropriately prior to your visit and avoid smoking and alcohol.

Avoid taking NSAIDs, blood-thinning medications, and anti-inflammatories at least 10 days before your appointment.

Report any side effects you experience to your provider, some tenderness and bruising can be normal.

Avoid inserting anything into your vagina for at least 3 days.

Avoid bathtubs, swimming pools, lakes, and hot tubs for at least a week.

Avoid anti-inflammatories for at least 2 weeks after your procedure as this will diminish the effectiveness.
