What to Expect
Your appointment will look different depending on which treatment you receive. For Emsella, we will have you sit on the special Emsella chair fully clothed. We may adjust your positioning, but otherwise you can sit comfortably. You will sit on the chair for 28 minutes where the electromagnetic waves will cause over 10,000 pelvic floor contractions. These contractions may feel a little funny at first but are definitely not painful at all.
For Vitalia, we will have you undress from the waist down in one of our comfortable treatment rooms, then lie down on the treatment table, covering yourself with a privacy sheet. When you are ready, we will use the handheld Vitalia device to administer treatment, which will take about 45 minutes. Vitalia will feel like a warming sensation, but also is not uncomfortable at all.
