Pre & Post Care Instructions

Avoid all exfoliating treatments and products 2 weeks before getting Botox in Arlington.

Wear sunscreen the week before your appointment. We recommend using ZO Skincare sunscreen for the best results.

Arrive with clean skin that has no oils, makeup, or lotions present.

Sleep face up and with your head slightly elevated for about 3 days following your injections.

Continue wearing ZO sunscreen to protect your skin from getting sunburned or damaged.

Do not touch, massage, or scratch your face since this could cause the product to move from its designated place.

Do not raise your body temperature for 4 hours following treatment (no exercise, hot tubs, saunas, being out in the sun, etc.).

Do not lie down for at least 4 hours after your injections.

Avoid wearing hats, visors, headbands or anything on the head that has the potential to move the neurotoxin for 24 hours.

To avoid infection, avoid wearing makeup on the day of the treatment. The face can be washed like normal at night (at least 4 hours post-treatment).

Be sure to schedule a 2-week follow-up appointment so your injector can assess your results and perform any enhancements if needed.
